The other moment came right before the parade began. CNN was interviewing some young college students from the Bronx. The correspondent asked three different students what they wanted Obama to focus on during his presidency. The exact reaction went as follows: Student #1: Illegal immigration. Student #2: Um …. Um .. ummm Student #3: Like, education. That pretty much sums it up, folks. The brutal truth is if you took what most of the people on the Mall and watching that parade yesterday, and I’m talking about 90% here, knew about our form of government and the people who are running it, and shoved that knowledge up an ant’s hind end, it would rattle around like a BB in a boxcar.
